It's that time again!

That's right! It's time to start planning for the next school year.

Hopefully everyone will be able to take full advantage of the conferences coming to the area during the next few months. HEAV, REACH, and the VAHomeschoolers are all having different types of conferences/conventions. Look them up and see what they have to offer.

Home Educators of Virginia is planning their annual homeschool convention. Each year thousands of homeschoolers come together in Richmond to shop, learn, and shop to their heart’s content! And best of all, if you are looking in to homeschooling for the first time, they offer FREE “How to Begin Homeschooling” sessions on Thursday, June 5^th. Yes, absolutely FREE! After the sessions you can also visit all the vendors for curriculum, toys, activities, etc…

And if you decide you want to attend the entire conference it’s only $70 if you register by May 19th (a little more if you register at the door). This includes you and your spouse for 3 days of teaching, encouragement, and shopping. They also have a used curriculum sale. Some may be considering different types of curriculum for next year. We cannot list every type of curriculum, but here are a few of the major curriculums to get you started.
